CHANDLER - They're not holding hands and singing Kumbayah yet, but the mayors of Chandler and Gilbert met for lunch this week to talk about settling an auto-mall war and working together on future deals.
Chandler Mayor Boyd Dunn and Gilbert Mayor Steve Berman said they will ask developers of the two future auto malls to stop their well-financed bickering and compromise on locations.
