Presentations from Customers and Interwoven Executives Will Focus on How to
Achieve Effective Document, E-Mail, and Records Management as Well as the
Value of the Microsoft Partnership

SUNNYVALE, Calif., Aug. 16 -- Interwoven, Inc.

business, today announced that it will present six sessions at the upcoming
2005 International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) Conference,
August 22-25 in Phoenix, AZ (booths: 218, 220). Attendees will have the
opportunity to hear presentations from leading Interwoven legal customers and
Interwoven executives focused on: effective e-mail and records management; the
benefits of Interwoven's matter-centric collaboration (MCC) approach; and how
Interwoven's WorkSite Collaborative Document Management (CDM) solution is
enabling law firms to drive greater operational efficiencies, productivity and
improved client service.

Additionally, Interwoven will present two sessions with Microsoft during
which attendees will be provided with an overview of the partnership,
including an update on the integration of the two companies' technologies.
Interwoven and Microsoft recently announced an expanded partnership
("Interwoven Announces High Velocity ECM Solutions on the Microsoft platform,"
May 12, 2005) through which Interwoven is delivering tightly integrated end-
to-end ECM solutions on the Microsoft platform for the professional services
industry.

What: Conference attendees can hear the following Interwoven
presentations on Monday, August 22nd:

-- "Interwoven Corporate Update." Session will provide an update on
Interwoven products and solutions, as well as include a discussion
of the Interwoven and Microsoft partnership.
-- "Implementing Interwoven WorkSite 8 to Facilitate Matter-Centric
Collaboration." Session will feature a customer case study
presentation from Torys, a leading Canadian law firm, on how the
firm has leveraged Interwoven CDM to achieve an MCC environment in
which all content related to a client matter -- documents, e-mails,
records, billing, contacts, and more -- is managed in a single
integrated file.
-- "To Centralize or Not to Centralize -- That is the Question."
Session will feature an overview of content centralization
strategies, focused on how CIO's can leverage Interwoven's CDM
solution and MCC approach to achieve the strategic objective of IT
and content centralization.
-- "My Interwoven WorkSite 8 Story." A trio of customer case study
presentations from leading law firms will detail how Interwoven CDM
is being used to improve a range of processes across the firms.
Customer presenters include: Stinson Morrison Hecker; Sidley Austin
Brown & Wood; and Cummings & Lockwood.
-- "Enabling the Lawyer to Work the Matter -- Effective E-mail and
Records Management." Session will focus on the challenge of managing
and organizing content in any form -- paper or electronic -- so that
lawyers can efficiently provide the best possible service to
clients, as well as appropriately store records once a client matter
is complete.
-- "Getting More Bang for Your Buck from the MS Office System." Session
will include a presentation on the Interwoven and Microsoft
partnership and product integration as it relates to how law firms
are leveraging the Microsoft Office System to improve collaboration
and client service.
