Sand bag locations in Mesa
Sand bag locations in Mesa
We are anticipating more storms this week, please be prepared to protect your homes from being flooded.
Mesa Fire Department has sand available. Please bring your own shovel, we currently have bags available at the stations listed below. It is recommended to fill the bags one-half to two-thirds full. The bag, when filled, should lie fairly flat. Over-filled bags are firm and do not nestle into one another; tight bags make for a leaky sandbag wall.
Sand is located at five fire stations and two city sites:
- Station 204, 1426 S. Extension
- Station 205, 730 S. Greenfield
- Station 208, 4530 E. McKellips
- Station 209, 7035 E. Southern
- Station 212, 2430 S. Ellsworth
- 300 E. 6th Street (west side)
- 6935 E. Decatur (north west parking lot)
