Online Sales Strategies Inc. Signs an Area Development Agreement for Phoenix, Arizona


Jan. 24, 2006--Online Sales Strategies, Inc. (Pink Sheets:OSSG) ("the Company") announced today that its subsidiary, The Online Outpost Licensing Corporation, has signed an Area Development Agreement for the city of Phoenix and surrounding areas. The Area Development Agreement (which includes revenue sharing with the developer) grants (for a fee) the rights to a territory and sets forth performance requirements to develop an area's potential, based upon the market size of the territory. The agreement with respect to Phoenix contemplates a minimum of eleven (11) stores opening over the next thirty-six (36) months.

FIRST ASU SCOTTSDALE CENTER TENANTS ANNOUNCED.

At this morning's groundbreaking for the ASU Scottsdale Center, developers of the project announced the first tenants to open offices at the center -- eFunds, an electronic-payment and risk management company has a fast growing global outsourcing business and provides customer support for clients in financial, retail and telecommunications industries and Wildfire Broadband Communications, the business that Scottsdale contracted with to install wireless fidelity, commonly called Wi-Fi, to serve downtown Scottsdale. Recently the development partners of the project announced that the center will be named and marketed as SkySong, capitalizing on the visibility of the iconic shade structure named SkySong that will soar over the public plaza in the center of the 37-acre site.


The Scottsdale City Council unanimously approved design plans for the first phases of the center, which will be located on the southeast corner of Scottsdale and McDowell roads, on Dec. 13. Construction of the first building could begin in March or April. The first phase includes extensive landscaping along McDowell and Scottsdale roads and throughout the interior of the site. The first phase includes four-story buildings, each with about 157,000 square feet. Most of the square footage will be for office and research space, with some first-floor space allocated for retail uses. The new 1,000-room Sheraton hotel slated to open in Downtown Phoenix, just one block from the expanding Phoenix Convention Center, has received full funding. The bonds for the project sold at a favorable blended rate of 5.28%. Groundbreaking for the project is set for February, and the 31-story building will open in the fall of 2008.


Visitors to Greater Phoenix will soon find it much easier to rent a car when the $270 million rental-car center opens at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport on January 19. The center will improve the rental-car process by consolidating all rental-car activity into one building, reducing congestion throughout the airport’s pick-up and drop-off areas. Phoenix is the third-largest airport rental-car market in the country, and the new facility is home to 13 rental-car companies. The new center includes a 120,000 square feet. customer-service building on top of a three-level parking garage that currently holds 5,600 cars but can be expanded to accommodate 7,400. Rentals in the new facility are expected to bring $31.5 million in annual revenue.

The Barrett-Jackson Classic Car Auction will celebrate its 35th year as it takes place again in Greater Phoenix from Jan. 14-22. Mesa residents encouraged to "Treecycle"

Mesa residents can help the City of Mesa give the environment a present this holiday season by recycling their Christmas trees. Residents are encouraged to bring their tree to any of the free drop-off locations listed below. Residents are asked to remove all nails, stands, tinsel and ornaments from trees. Flocked trees will not be accepted because the flocking does not break down in the environment.

The following locations only will accept trees from 7 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 31 and Jan. 7:

--St. Timothy's Catholic Church, 1730 W. Guadalupe Road
--Central Christian Church, 933 N. Lindsay Road

The following 24-hour drop-off sites will be open Dec. 31-Jan. 7:
